YSC Choir
The YSC Choir is a warm and welcoming community choir rooted in Scandinavian musical tradition. We perform a diverse repertoire spanning Nordic folk songs, classical choral works, and contemporary pieces — all while celebrating the culture and spirit that bring our club together.
No auditions. No prior choral experience required. If you love to sing and want to share that joy with fellow members, the YSC Choir is the place for you. We welcome singers of all voice types and experience levels.

Choir Calendar
Who Can Join
The choir is open to all YSC members. Whether you've sung in choirs your whole life or the last time you sang was at a school play, there's a spot for you. We believe in singing for the love of it.
What We Sing
Our repertoire draws from Scandinavian folk traditions, Nordic hymns, classical choral standards, and seasonal music. We regularly perform at YSC events including the Midsommar celebration, the holiday dinner, and our annual spring concert.
Your First Rehearsal
Just show up on a Sunday evening. No need to pre-register — introduce yourself to the choir director and join right in. Sheet music is provided. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to get settled before we warm up at 7:00 PM.
